Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Acceptance and Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://just-ar.com (the "Website") and general aspects of requesting or receiving services from Just Appliance Repair LLC ("Just Appliance Repair," "we," "our," or "us"). By using the Website or requesting service, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by law. Separate written estimates, work orders, invoices, and warranty documents may provide transaction-specific terms. If they conflict with these general Terms, the transaction-specific written document controls for that service, except where law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms waives nonwaivable consumer protections.
Services and Availability
We provide residential appliance diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and installation services in selected California service areas. Services and appointment availability vary by location, appliance, parts availability, and technician capacity. A Website inquiry or booking request does not guarantee a particular appointment time, same-day service, that a specific part is available, or that an appliance can be repaired. We may decline work outside our capabilities, service area, or safe operating conditions.
Appointment Requests and Customer Information
You agree to provide accurate contact, service-location, and appliance information, and to promptly inform us of relevant changes. You authorize us to contact you about your inquiry, appointments, estimates, service updates, and related support using the contact details you provide. We do not interpret an appointment request as consent to promotional text messaging. Requests through our booking provider, FlyCust, may also be subject to that provider's applicable platform terms.
Diagnostic and Service Call Charges
A service call and/or diagnostic fee may apply. The applicable charge can differ by appliance, location, scope of work, or a custom quote; it will be disclosed before the applicable visit or diagnostic work in the manner required by California law. Diagnostic and service call charges compensate for time, travel, evaluation, and related service, and are generally retained even if you choose not to proceed with repair or a repair cannot reasonably be completed due to conditions outside our control. If, after our diagnostic attempts, we are unable to identify the reported malfunction, we generally provide a full refund of the diagnostic/service-call amount charged for that issue. Any specific written agreement, legally required refund, or company-approved adjustment may provide a different outcome. We will not charge an undisclosed diagnostic amount contrary to applicable law.
Estimates and Approval of Repairs
Before beginning repair work, we will provide a written estimate as required by California law. The estimate will describe the proposed parts and labor and applicable charges. We will not charge for additional work or parts above an approved estimate without obtaining the customer's prior consent as required by law. Estimates may change if further inspection reveals additional problems, but additional repair work and charges require appropriate approval. You may decline a proposed repair; in that event, applicable disclosed diagnostic/service call charges may remain payable. We may recommend replacement instead of repair when repair is impractical, uneconomical, unsafe, or parts are unavailable.
Repair Outcomes and Limitations
We use reasonable professional care, but no diagnosis or repair can guarantee that an appliance will become or remain fully operational in every situation. Older appliances, intermittent faults, multiple component failures, inaccessible defects, prior repairs, manufacturer limitations, and unavailable parts can affect outcomes. We will explain material findings and obtain approval before undertaking additional chargeable work. We do not guarantee repair of unrelated or subsequently emerging faults.
Site Access and Safety
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance, including adequate workspace and access to utilities, shutoff valves, and necessary electrical connections where appropriate. Please secure pets and disclose known hazards, active leaks, pest infestations, structural problems, or unsafe electrical or gas conditions. We may pause, reschedule, or decline work where conditions are unsafe, a required third-party trade must first address an issue, or the equipment cannot be safely accessed. Any applicable charge will be determined by the disclosed service terms and applicable law.
Payment
Payment for services is ordinarily requested after an in-person visit or as otherwise stated on your estimate or invoice. We may accept credit/debit cards, cash, checks, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Venmo, subject to availability and any disclosed payment instructions. In limited situations we may provide a direct Square payment link after an in-person interaction. The Website itself does not collect payment card details or accept direct checkout payments. Do not send full card details by email or Website message. Charges and applicable taxes, where required, will appear on the estimate or invoice.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. We do not currently impose a separate, generally applicable cancellation or no-show fee under these Terms. If a fee or special condition applies to a particular appointment, we will disclose it in advance and obtain any required agreement. This section does not eliminate charges for diagnostic or other work already performed and properly authorized.
Warranty on Completed Work
Unless a different written warranty is provided for the specific job, our standard limited service warranty is 90 days and applies only to the repair labor performed and parts we supplied and installed for the covered repair. A separate written warranty may specify a different term for certain services or components. Warranty coverage is limited to a failure of the covered work or installed part; it does not automatically cover a different malfunction, normal wear, appliance age, misuse, improper maintenance, external damage, utility issues, pest damage, or work performed by others. Please contact us promptly with your invoice and a description of the issue. We may inspect the appliance to determine whether the reported problem is covered. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Refunds and Unfinished Service
Refund decisions depend on the work performed, written service documents, the cause of the problem, and applicable law. If a proposed repair cannot be completed because needed parts are unavailable, further defects are discovered, or other conditions beyond our reasonable control prevent completion, we ordinarily retain the properly disclosed and earned diagnostic/service-call charge; unperformed repair work will not be charged. If incomplete service results from our failure to perform agreed work, we will evaluate an appropriate correction or refund, consistent with the particular agreement and applicable law. If we cannot identify the reported malfunction after our diagnostic attempts, we generally refund the diagnostic/service-call charge for that issue in full. This policy does not restrict any mandatory consumer rights.
Damage, Existing Conditions, and Customer Property
We take reasonable care while working at your property. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, ordinary deterioration, unrelated component failures, damage caused by external events or third parties, or losses unrelated to our services, except to the extent liability is imposed by law. Please report suspected service-related damage promptly so it can be evaluated. We do not disclaim liability for damage caused by our own negligence or misconduct where such a disclaimer would be prohibited by law. Customers should remove fragile or valuable items from the immediate work area before service.
Website Content and Acceptable Use
Website content, text, design, and branding are provided for general informational purposes and may not be copied for commercial use without permission, except as permitted by law. You agree not to interfere with Website functionality, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious content, or use Website forms for spam or unlawful purposes. Website descriptions and general troubleshooting information are not individualized technical instructions and should not be treated as a substitute for qualified assessment.
Third-Party Platforms
Our Website may link to or use services operated by third parties, including FlyCust for appointment and CRM workflows and Square for occasional payment links. Your use of those platforms may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy notices. We are responsible for our own obligations to customers but do not control independent platform operations or outages.
Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website is offered on an "as available" basis, and we do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free Website content. Any limitations of liability must be interpreted subject to mandatory consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded. We make no promise of a specific repair outcome beyond the approved work and applicable written warranty.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without overriding mandatory consumer protections. We encourage customers to contact us first to discuss a service concern in good faith. Nothing in these Terms requires arbitration or waives the right to seek relief from an appropriate court or regulatory agency.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Changes will apply prospectively to Website use and new service requests, unless otherwise permitted by law and expressly agreed. For a service already authorized, its applicable written estimate, work order, invoice, and warranty remain controlling as described above.
